Though that is...kinda about pirates. But Locke is still a thief, whether on land or water, so it should still be suitable. The third book is supposed to come out soon too, if I recall correctly.
Otherwise, I would say Name of the Wind, since Kvothe is, among many other things, a thief. If nothing else he has that rogue mindset that makes thief characters so fascinating to begin with.
