The old version RandAllThor Send a noteboard - 19/09/2009 06:13:25 PM
I've got the new version and not gotten round to reading it yet (as I can't afford the other books in the series yet), but some people have said that the new version is a bit clunkier than the old and not as good, but it does fit events in the series a bit better.

I think the new version is clunkier and does a bad job of covering up inconsistencies in the originals. If he had revised all of the first four books to fit what happens in the last three, I think the new Gunslinger could work much better than it does.
