People almost never commit acts of evil for the sake of being evil and with the exception of true sociopaths even the worst of men rationalize their misdeeds. I think that is why I enjoyed Huxley so much more. Orwell made his world so bad that they were making everyone as miserable as possible simply because they could. Orwell's world is more frightening but I think Huxley's is more believable.
I can safely say that we've found one concept on which we can agree completely. Yay us.
If you could pass on only one book to the next generation, what would it be?

Some parts of Orwell's dystopia did in fact come true, though.
