By "unusual" I mean "of virtually no interest to anyone outside a small circle of people with interest in an esoteric field". Books on the changing structure of the ancient Egyptian verb, for example, or the Soviet Union's bizarre "Jewish homeland" in Siberia, or on the films of David Lynch, will all have people on this site who would be interested, but it's never the same people and it's not something that would be universally interesting.
