Bookshelves taking up space. Ghavrel Send a noteboard - 03/02/2011 06:10:54 AM
Shouldn't be difficult question at all.

You're right; for someone who lives in a house with more electrical outlets than bookshelves, it isn't! I'm looking forward to eventually clearing space and getting a large desk for things which actually do need to take up space. You can plug an ereader in at night, you know. Just like a cell phone. Or do you still only use landlines so you don't run out of batteries in the middle of a call?

Now, have you actually ever used a modern ereader for an extended period of time, or is this one of those "I just KNOW I won't like it" complaints? Because "it runs out of batteries" is quite possibly the worst reason I've seen to dislike ereaders. I should know; I used it back before I actually had one.
"We feel safe when we read what we recognise, what does not challenge our way of thinking.... a steady acceptance of pre-arranged patterns leads to the inability to question what we are told."

If you won't strip DRM, for whatever odd reason, get a Nook. - 31/01/2011 08:35:26 PM 860 Views
