In the mirror one, it's also clever how the end connects to the beginning - "and not like the reflections" "in this mirror".
I like typographical poetry like that, though, I can see how some would argue that it's a cheap trick, but it really does work sometimes. One of the best poets of Flanders (where I'm from, in Belgium) did a fair bit of typographical poems, such as this one:
