The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever... DREWRULESWOT! Send a noteboard - 14/01/2011 10:06:17 PM
I just finished the second book (The Illearth War), and I think that it's outstanding so far. It's really interesting to read an older epic fantasy, written when certain elements weren't so cliche as they are now...yet he still manages to pull off some crazy stuff that feels like it was written by a new-age fantasy author.

Has anyone else here read these? Liked/disliked them?

Not to mention Donaldson's vocabulary. Like, holy sh*t.
Here's to keeping the spirit of Wotmania alive...cheers to RAFO
