To Kill a Mockingbird is, indeed, a great book. Legolas Send a noteboard - 01/01/2011 06:28:40 PM
I understand that "To Kill a Mockingbird" is a great book. Maybe I'll give that one a try.

So great a book in fact that Harper Lee has never published any other novel, preferring to be known for the one huge success. Kind of a shame, that. But you really should read it if you haven't yet - it's a great book for any reader, but particularly for Americans obviously.
So what would "The Gunslinger" by Stephen King count toward in your opinion? I've read it two or three times now and it's a Western/Fantasy/Horror type. Personally, I'd say Fantasy.

That's Dark Tower, yeah? I've read a fair few King books, but not the Dark Tower ones. Probably fantasy, alright, unlike much of King's other works, but based on the little I know about The Gunslinger, it certainly has Western elements... I don't know, works for me if you want to read it as a Western.
Thanks for the answers.

You're welcome. :)
