The Not-So-Dirty Half Dozen Challenge.
1. Read a work of Classic literature - one you've never read before.
Since Camilla mentioned Spenser, I think I might go for another classic from Renaissance England: Milton's Paradise Lost (and Paradise Regained, I suppose). I did start that one before and read a good part of it, but didn't get halfway.
I guess if I add another one that I've started but never finished, two halves of never-read classics add up to one whole one, yes?

And I'll probably read Dickens' Tale of Two Cities which would qualify as well.
Extra challenge for this task: write a review of the book and post it on the board.
But of course.
Old Favourite:
The 50 Book Challenge. Says it all, really.
Will do this, we'll see how many I end up with. Maybe it'll be a hundred (definitely if I keep up this pace, but I probably won't), maybe not.
And one more thing:
It's a good time for you to pick up a book you've been meaning to read for ages. Just tell us which book it is in this post and then read it sometime in 2011.
I suppose Paradise Lost qualifies... or I could give GGM's Cien Años de Soledad a go.

We tried to get some less-mentioned genres, so makes sense, but you can interpret them widely.
