The following are in no particular order...
American Gods by Neil Gaimen. I was in Switzerland at the time and it was one of the first books in a really long time that I could read for hours at a time. While the book was extremely enjoyable it would not have been one of my favorites if not for the excess reading time.
Luck in the Shadows by Lynn Flewelling
Bones of the Dragon by Weiss and Hickman
Luck in the Shadows was a very enjoyable book and again, I had so much time to read it as I was away at camp. But other than that I actually liked the book for the most of the plot...one thing I didn't like was the Seregil plot...his gayness you know?
Bones of the Dragon I liked, again(I know I'm getting old) but the time I had to read it allowed me to absorb every word. There was too much boring romance for my taste but it was never the less pretty intense...
Keeping Time by Stacey McGlynn...I never actually read this book But I can't miss a chance for a little product placement right? Right? OK I'm sorry...
Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson...Probably one of the most intense fantasies I've ever read. I like the plot, the many characters and the writing style. The second book was not nearly as good, yes I still enjoyed it, but it brought my rating of the series from about a nine to a six. the third book is redeeming it however.
Hmm wow I'm really groping here.
I can say Endurance by F.A Worsley for the historicness(is that a word) of it. Also I do love Antarctic exploration, always a subject that fascinated me.
Wow can I not do this? I mean i read more than six books! Why is this so difficult?
Eh this will have to do for now...If I think of others I may post them...sorry.
