While we don't know where Georgiana was at the time, it was pretty clear that she was not at Rosings Park in Kent. And since Georgiana was still just 16 at the time, I don't think the idea of asking was even entertained by Darcy. Informed, maybe.
Georgiana was in many ways the least independent young woman in the story. And yet, she wasn't so much a foil to Lizzy as she was to Lydia and, perhaps, Mary.

I can't decide whether he would have told Georgiana or not. On the one hand, he's a very caring brother who doesn't seem like he would do anything that could possibly hurt her. On the other, what she doesn't know probably wouldn't hurt her, and it likely doesn't fit with the position men had as head of the family.

Just an idle thought.
