He was over hyped to me. - Edit 1

The person who recommended "The DaVinchi Code" to me swore it was the greatest book ever and that it told them so many things they had never known, blah, blah, blah. Since I wanted to make them happy, I told them that I would read it as soon as I was done with the book I was currently reading. That book was "Les Miserables". "The DaVinchi Code" was a let down for me. Maybe I would have thought it was better if it wasn't following that act, but I don't think so. I got the same feeling I used to when I read "The National Enquirer" back when I was a teenager before I decided it was trashy journalism. It just felt trashy all the way around.
