However, The Gathering Storm felt like the earlier WoT books, which were nice and entertaining. This book just proves how predictable, formulaic and poorly-paced the entire series is. Most of it isn't Sanderson's fault. It's the dead guy's fault.
Oh, and when I have finished the last page (though I skipped ahead, skimmed and looked at the glossary plenty of times) I am going to post a review that shows just how little I think of the Wheel of Time at this point.
