I find that fascinating (I'm from a big Polish family, spoke it until I was 5/6, then forgot it!). They haven't been translated into English, have they? So frustrating!
Well, the only one that has been translated is Andrzej Sapkowski - his Geralt short stories collection and first volume of book series are already out in English - and that's his best work so you should check it out. All the others are unfortunately unavailable.
But if you knew Polish as a child this would be the easiest foreign language for you to learn. Maybe you should try it. Then you can not only read books by Polish authors but also all the Russian and other Slavic books that have been translated to Polish
