As for Patricia Briggs and the other witchy vampire/werewolf bounty huntress authors can be like a vamp and suck it. xP
And Anita Blake, True Blood, etc are not fantasy. They are romance novels with gratuitous necrophilia. BLAH.

And a few of the urban fantasy writers actually have some talent (by all accounts, this does not include Meyer). Sounds like you're just sticking your head in the ground to rant and not being charitable enough to acknowledge (as publishers have) that the market is shining brightest for the UF/PR writers right now.
