As a tangent: You need to compile a list of excellent short fiction collections.

Also, damn you and your recent streak of reviewing awesome sounding books. I'm trying to cut back until I can catch up with what I already have.

I'm nearing 350 books read this year. After a while, I'm bound to have read a few good ones, right? Oh, and does the use of first person for most of the stories end up blurring the lines between them or is there a clear sense of separation?
There's a clear sense of separation between the various stories, although a few have some themes in common.
