Saying your fed up is different than saying I'm not going to buy his stuff. Of course I'll buy his book. That's what I'm waiting for and why I'm so peeved. He shouldn't be doing this to us yet he is and for that, he will lost a good deal of his audience because they'll stop caring. I still want to find out what happens so I'll buy the books. It's the people who stop complaining and move on who will not support him. If he keeps this up much longer, he'll have a fan base half the size of what it was. And that will happen when people stop making threads like these or websites about him finishing
I just get amused by people who complain about him not finishing the books, say that there's going to be consequences if he doesn't (eg. lose he's fanbase or whatnot)... then immediately go out and buy the book when in comes out. Maybe it's not inconsistent, but I find it amusing nonetheless.
You do realize there's alot of other books you can read in the mean time? Especially if you're interested in epic fantasy, lord knows there's a lot of it out there.
Because George R.R. Martin does everything but write these days...

Not only is he a writer, but he has really only one successful series.

I said I'm "growing" to hate him. I'm not ready to pay for his death yet.

I agree but emphatically endorse use of the subjunctive "were".

You know whenever the new book is ever released, it'll sell even more copies due to the wait, right?

There's a huge difference between Song of Ice and Fire and Miller's Leibowitz.

Not neccessarily. There are plenty of series that I started but didn't finish because I lost
