As much as I'm enjoying the writing and Stephen's peerless wit (as ever), I have to echo a sentiment expressed in a review on Amazon.co.uk:
"On the other hand, for me at least, dressing rooms, major and minor league celebs and the glittering prizes in general will always be less interesting than adolescent lust, failure and mental illness. This doubtless reflects a morbid streak in my own character but largely for this reason "Chronicles" will probably go back on the shelf and not be disturbed again whereas "Moab" will continue to be read until the pages start falling out."
