I'm fairly sure you're not capable of reading the next seven books before Erikson publishes the tenth. Especially not while your thesis isn't finished.

In any case you may not want to finish the entire series, but you won't know that until you read the next few books, MoI in particular. And MT. If you're not wowed by MoI and still meh after MT, just give up.


It is not impractical. I have no burning urge to read Erikson at the moment. Nor Martin for that matter (another one I haven't started because it is not finished yet). I violently dislike having to wait for books to come out.
