Theories *SPOILERS* Tavi Send a noteboard - 04/09/2010 06:56:47 PM
As I said in my earlier post, I was really impressed with the book. Already looking forward to the second installment.

A couple of things that I'm wondering, and a couple of predictions for later books:

1) What exactly does being a Truthless entail other than following their master's commands? Is there more than one, or is it more of a title than a job?

2) in the Ars Arcanum, it says that Windrunners relied on two types of Surgebinding, but the descriptions of the Three Lashings relied on manipulating gravity. What would the second type of Surgebinding be? Or am I just misunderstanding?

3) Does Shallan's ability with Memory come from her abilities at Soulcasting, or is it more of an eidetic memory type of ability?

4) Is the Almighty that Odium has killed one of the Shards of Adonalsium that's fallen on this planet, or is He the Creator of the cosmere?

5) I think it's pretty safe to say that Szeth and Kaladin are going to be fighting in the next book. I'm interested to see how Sanderson plays that.

6) About Dalinar's visions: I thought it was pretty obvious that the "gibberish" he was speaking was the language of the times.

That's about all I can come up with. Thoughts?
