I won't include The Road, because I agree with you...not dystopian.

Thank you.

Well I think we may be in the minority as far as people that thought it was highly overrated.

Of the true dystopians? Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? That's only because I'm not sold on Leibowitz being dystopian.

Huh. What is it about?

It's a bit more postapocalyptic than dystopian. It takes place in 3 different time periods all separated by like 700 years. The first is soon after the apocalypse, the second is sort of in the dark ages, and the third back to a global world. Each one deals with government and the sort in it's own way...I'm just not sure I'd classify the society as a whole as a dystopia since it's just not all that type of political.

I'm not sure that makes much sense, but I tried.

Of all these...I guess The Wanting Seed, but I quite liked it, so it's really just the loser because I liked it slightly less than all the others on the list.

Hehe. Wanting seed.

Heh, you might like that one.

Brave New World, because it seemed like the one that was the most plausible.

I've heard a lot of people say they dislike this. Wonder why.

I have heard that as well. I thought it was a really good book, but it doesn't seem like a whole lot of other people liked the book.
