Anyone read Andrzej Sapkowski? Browncoat Emma Send a noteboard - 10/09/2009 06:04:08 AM
So I went to the book store the other day and used my gift card to buy both The Princess Bride and Blood of Elves. I'm excited to read The Princess Bride since I've seen it several times and love it...anyway... I just happened across the book Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski and thought it looked good from my short examination. So I got it. But it says "starring the Witcher" and it follows The Last Wish. I saw that there were some short stories before and it seems The Last Wish had the last before the actual novel(s). Would it be best to read the stories preceding this novel or are they all sort of stand-alone, but still part of a larger story?
It could be a while before I get to it, but then again, I have a horrible habit of starting books before I've finished with the other two, three or seven I'm currently reading. Which means I rarely finish a book in good time. Sigh. But I'd like to know if I should hide this one before that happens if I need to read all the stories in order. Please help? Thanks...
