Wow, that really puts it into perspective, doesn't it... RJ, in 10 years, wrote 2 more WoT books, died, his wife found someone to take over his legacy, he came out with another WoT book, and the best case scenario would be that GRRM might come out with his second book since SoS at the same time as the second BS WoT book... yipes.

He was almost finished with the book in June 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and now 2010, according to GRRM.
