(Warning - NSSP...the P standing for paragraph in this case.)I have been working 12+ hour days for the last month and a half and didn't have much time to read. I interrupted my reading of Middlemarch to read last month's two selections. When I finally got a chance to continue with Middlemarch I decided that I really needed to stay with that for the time as I was deriving so much joy from reading it. I needed something really good in my life right the to balance.
I wasn't sure what I was going to think of The Master and Margarita when I started the book. But I think it may turn out to be something I will enjoy. I am almost tempted to go back to the book store and buy one of the other translations to see how much of a difference there is. Parts of this one feel a little klunky or the wording seems a little too modern.
I should be having a lot more time in the coming week maybe I will finish it soon.
