This place was awesome, but I had a very limited time to look around as they were near closing. It's a shame, as I had to leave the country the next morning. Of the many books I was interested in, a copy of stories by Poe illustrated by Harry Clarke was probably the most tempting. Man, I wanted that bad. I had just been to a museum that same day which had a room dedicated to the prints of Clarke, and I found his aesthetic fucking awesome. To see his quirky and eerie drawings in this old book of Poe stories was just awesome. I think it was a first edition (illustrated by Clarke, that is, not of Poe).

There was also a glass case full of first editions of many famous Irish authors -- such as copies of Ulysses printed in France and a version of Finnegans Wake before it was completed and named that. Very cool.

I can't remember the name of it, but there was a used book store in Omaha which I was very fond of. They had old signed copies of Kerouac novels and such, and a pretty decent section of occult/mystical studies. Used occult literature is something I really enjoy finding in these places.
