I don't even recall much of them anymore. Filled with the usual dullness of King, and the later Gunslinger books are as thick as anything he writes. Yuck. Like a never-ending Crossroads of Twilight, or Don Quijote for those who don't read WoT.
There was a new character in the second book that I liked, though. Didn't make me keen enough to read the rest of the series.
