I really like the series. Yeah, he might go into too much technical jargon, but that's not a problem for me, because I'm enjoying that part a lot. *shrug*
Are his other books as good? Galileo's Dream and whatever else?

The other books by Robinson I've read are GREEN MARS, BLUE MARS (good but I think RED is by far the best in the trilogy), THE YEARS OF RICE AND SALT (more of a short story collection; the early stories are excellent but it goes off the boil towards the end), PACIFIC EDGE (very good) and GALILEO'S DREAM (pretty good). I also have THE MEMORY OF WHITENESS on the to-read pile.

I'm not much of a sci-fi person, but I really enjoyed this book.

For some reason I have never been able to get anywhere with a Kim Stanley Robinson book.
