I am not going to buy a house yet because I don't have the roughly $750,000 in cash that I should have for a downpayment on a decent-sized house in this area. Until such time, space is limited in the extreme. I will not buy new books, with an extreme number of exceptions, those being the next two Wheel of Time books, any George R.R. Martin book that may come out before my 18-month old has children of her own, the three outstanding volumes of the complete Bloom County series and the fifth volume of the Clark Ashton Smith complete works (set to come out in September).
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

Yes it is. And you didn't answer my question. Why won't you just play the game?

No they don't. I have lost on several gambles. But I have had enough success that I keep trying.

Huh. I suppose, since I have to choose, I'd go for cover. At least it would look pretty.

Hmm, that's a toughy. It's really a toss of the dice; could go either way. I'd go with cover...
