So has anyone else read the free preview from the tor.com yet?
I liked what I read but not really sure what to make of it yet, its the prologue and the first three chapters and yet it covers a large slab of time.
I started to get into the story in chapter one and then it jumped to another character before apparently killing this kid off and moving on to another, then another. I assume this is just Sanderson moving around to introduce all the main players and that if I had the full book I'd be back to finding out more about what happened to the first guy by now.
What I've read so far was enjoyable although Sanderson has dropped the reader into the middle of an unfamiliarity world with associated magic and with only three chapters I'm still a little bit lost. Hopefully it becomes clearer.
Already there are some interesting questions that suggest an exciting read.
