Following on from the question on Film to Book adapations, here are some questions about the reverse.

1. What book would you most like to see adapted to film or TV?

The list has become very long with CG making almost anything possible.

Ringworld would be a good choice. Visually it would be stunning. The characters are shallow enough for a movie and there really are no concepts in that would be to hard to translate to the screen.

2. What would you least like to see (things that haven't yet been adapted)?

I have seen talk that they are planning to make Thomas Covenant into a film and I can't see how they will do it without losing what made it a great story.

Slightly related:

Do you prefer to see plays on the stage or on film? (I mean film versions of the plays, not stage performances that have been filmed.)

Since I lack and resemblance of culture I really can't answer. I don't go to plays unless one of my kids is in them.
