Call hyperbole Greek poetry is pretty slow going, but honestly - Edit 1

I spent less time looking things up for the entire Aeneid than Canterbury Tales. Admittedly I tend not to literally translate Latin and rather read the spirit of the passage and I felt the need to do Chaucer word for word. But I'm being serious - Latin makes more sense than Chaucer. It also helped that I found (most books, barring, you know, VIII and IX) the Aeneid interesting and Chaucer a little dull.
