I was originally gonna reply to your previous post, then decided not to. Guess I will now.

There are obviously some points in your new post here that I'm not going to get into as they aren't any of my business, but I think your anger in your previous post and in this one about Jake's "holding hands" comment is based on a misreading or at least misinterpretation of that post.
I would even go so far as to say it's absurd for you to feel that the "holding hands" comment was a jab at you or in any way insulting to you. Sure, the comment came in reply to Tom who was replying to you, but it seems to me that in context it was rather clear that the comment was supposed to mean "go ahead and start discussion yourself, instead of waiting for me". Not "you're incompetent and need me to hold your hand", as you seem to have interpreted it. One would think you were confident enough about the qualitative superiority of your comments compared to most other comments on this board to not read Jake's comments as if he's questioning the quality of your posts or analysis.
Edit: Also, read Tash's reply. As usual, she's wise.
