Judging by the various-language Wikipedia pages for her (that's an interesting tool for some things...), her series has been widely available, including in translation, in Germany for over ten years, while the French translation only started in 2008 and is three books in now. The Dutch page doesn't mention Wars of Light and Shadow at all, confirming my impressions. The Finnish one is interesting for me as learner of Finnish, but doesn't tell us anything other than that. ;)

But yeah, if there are issues with the American publisher too, that may explain why she's not talked about very often.
