I intentionally picked a modern author with a very edgy, weird approach and a book that might be considered by some to be sci-fi. It's a bit unlike all the other books in the Russian Book Club. But EVEN IF you don't like it, come back for the book after that because we move on to classics by Gogol, and after that BULGAKOV!
Very curious indeed, as it seems like it might hit some of my literary "sweet spots" based on the descriptions that I've read.
