Hrm. Well, when I realized people would take offense, I edited. I am sorry that I offend less easily than the people on here, but you won't have to worry about it long. The reason I gave Arok my points was that people on here are SO overly sensitive it is not fun to be here anymore. THIS post is an amazing example of why I am leaving. And without a sappy "Goodbye post".

There IS NO SIMILAR situation for a male. When my male boss came back to work a short time after his bypass, no one was like, OOOOH You crazy person, you are ignoring a special time in your life. You suck. IT IS a double standard.
I am quite aware there is no situation that is the same, but there are situations similar in importance, such as the mentioned heart surgery. And, you say your boss went for such a process, and then returned to work shortly afterwards? And no one told him he was crazy? Well, apparently I am not the one who sucks, because I would have most definitely told him that. It was extremely unhealthy, and he's lucky he didn't do some kind of damage.
