WTF??? Are you saying... I don't understand this. Could you clarify? (Ironic) I KNOW you don't mean you would divorce her if she made more than you..?
I mean that I have a lot of things I want in my life, and I'd like it for my wife to have a career as well, so we can live comfortably and afford things for ourselves, and our children. I mean that I probably would not marry someone without a career unless I happened to be very rich personally. If you see this as a negitive, it's extremely odd considering how many women want careers, and blame men for trying to hold them back as stay-at-home mothers. I wish to do the opposite.
This pisses me off. Her child was not born yet, and no amount of clarification was necessary to tell you she was not working AT THAT MOMENT. When contractions get close NO ONE could work.
I know she wasn't doing work exactly at the moment she was giving birth, but the environment is extremely inappropriate for a person to be conducting business.
You know, it is not immature to work. Or to get things done so you can take time off once your baby actually comes. You should get off YOUR high horse.
If you actually think I believe that it is immature to work, you need to go back to school. Or, if you believe that the woman's working while in labor is going to necessitate more time off for her child later in life.
Please.
