I can't believe anyone would have the gall to do that. And knowing how on edge I was when I was in labor I can't believe that her boss isn't down on his hands and knees blindly groping for his head.

As for what Lews Therin said she shouldn't have charged for it but if she wanted to do something to get her mind off the pain I didn't see anything wrong with that. It isn't excactly something you want to concentrate on.
I don't know that she did charge for the time. She might just have been doing things she felt she had to do before she could take time off. As to my big boss, they are actually on the same level (him and her) and I think the reason she did not behead him is that he might (maybe?!) have been kidding and then she actually took him up on the work stuff so she would have a distraction. I don't know as I was not there, but it is possible. I just know everyone around the office was like...
