If you have already graduated...
5. What is your degree in?
aerospace technics
6. Did you find a job that is relevant to your degree?
yes, although it doesn't seem to be so at the first glance. (see my profile for details on my job). Many graduates from this field are doing this job.
7. Is that job as fulfilling as you thought it would be?
yes.
8. Did your schooling properly prepare you for said occupation?
hmm... I'd say yes. Although not everything I learned can be applied, and some I still had to learn. But I'd say I was prepared quite good.
9. Hindsight can be both wonderful and terrible sometimes. Do you wish you had chosen a different topic of study?
No.
10. If you like your occupation, YAY FOR YOU!
Yay for me!
11. If not, will you go back to school for something else?
If I should become rich and didn't need to work any more, I'd probably go back and study something that sounds interesting and has not the slightest chance of getting me a good job, but don't ask me what that might be.
12. Did you go to school right after high school or did you wait a while until you figured out what you wanted to do?
made my alternate civilian sevice first (16 months) and worked in my father's bakery for a couple of months after that because tha start date was fixed anyway.
13. If you waited ... do you feel this is directly related to your feeling fulfilled in your occupation?
Yes. I did see work life before studying.
14. Any advice for the ones currently still in school?
Don't choose a job that is contradictory to your nature. It sucks being forced to do a job you despise.
I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it.
