It's not like we feel we are the greatest and just dont dare to say it out loud, no. We just couldnt care less about if a nation is the greatest or not. Wouldnt hurt a few other states to be a lil more humble, either.

If one is the most powerful and everyone knows it, then why be ashamed of it? Oh and Germany has series problems with freedom of speech.

Anyone trying to say Germany is the best country in the world would be attacked, not just for the inacuracy of the statement or the american like patriotism, but for the echos to Hitler too.

Hopefully Germany will change in the next few decades to deal with its lack of free speech. If one is a democratic state then one must take the bad along with the good and not be shackled to history.
