Hi guys. I really need your help for two research papers I'm writing on wotmania. This is part one. If you could take five minutes and fill out this survey, it would be incredibly helpful.
I know it's real...I just remember that was something people put down a LONG time ago when they wanted to get answers for bad questions.
-What is your race? Caucasian
-Do you think that there is an explicit hierarchy at wotmania? If so, how does it break down?
Well, Mike is at the top, followed by the Admins, and there is definitely a slight advantage to having seniority.
-Do you believe that there is a hierarchy at wotmania, but it isn’t officially noted by anyone? If so, how does this hierarchy break down?
There are people that get noticed and read and people who are sort of ignored. I think it has to do with name recognition and/or reputation.
-Do the terms Elder, Midbie, and Newbie actually mean anything for a person, or is it just a title that establishes how long someone has been at the site?
They have a slight meaning. A newbie is more likely to get flamed for doing something against site protocol, an elder is more likely to get some of the long-standing jokes on the site, etc.
-Do you think that the admins on the site are in higher standing than the other members?
A bit. After all, they can lock discussions and see the Team MB.
-In your opinion, do those who post on the Community MB think that they are “better” than those on the WoT MB?
Yes.
-In your opinion, do those who post on the WoT MB think that they are “better” than those on the Community MB?
I wouldn't know. I try to stay away from those losers.
Thank you.

Oh, I don't have time for this. I have to go and buy a single piece of fruit with a coupon and then return it, making people wait behind me while I complain. - Prof. Farnsworth
