Looking to buy a laptop, looking for some help. Points offered. Aemon - 10/04/2004 02:56:29 PM

Here's the deal. I'm looking to buy a new laptop, and after going through all those websites out there. . .well, it's a bit overwhelming. So what I'm looking for is someone who knows a good deal about this kind of thing to find me a good laptop, at a good price. I don't know if the best way to do it is to buy a premade system at bestbuy.com, or build one at something like newegg, or what, but I don't really care either. That's what you're here for.

The price range I'm looking at is around 1,500, and as far as components and such, I'd like to go bigger on things like processor speed and memory, and sacrifice hard drive space, and other flashy extra sort of things. If that makes sense.

ANYWAY. . .dunno if anyone is willing to help me out, but if you wouldn't mind taking a few minutes to see what you could do, I'd really appreciate it. And if you find me what I'm looking for, (and you like points ) I will definitely make it worth your while. And if no one responds, well, thought I'd give it a shot anyway.
