Aryan (just kidding) Caucasian with almost all coming from German brood stock. However on my Maternal Grandmother's side in the early 1800's, Alfonse Schenk did marry a woman who was part English or Irish (depending on which version you hear).

-Do you think that there is an explicit hierarchy at wotmania? If so, how does it break down?
Define EXPLICIT. To answer your question, yes there is. In fact there are two. The first is Superadmin vs. Admins vs. standard users. This is the only EXPLICIT hierarchy of which I know.

This is not the end of stratification however. Amongst all others, users are classified by several criteria. First is length of time at Wotmania. How long have you been coming here. Second is number of posts. If an individual says they have been coming here for two years, but has 17 posts, that spells Lurker with the capital L. Next is where you post. (You only post on the games board? Oh, your one of them...) Next is identifiable faction (ie. the ASI). Where you live IRL is another identifiable strata. Here we have the Brits, Europeans, Americans, and Aussies among others. Another factor is how many Wotmaniacs you know outside of the boards. There are those that knew each other before they came here and those that met here. And finally, there is the quality of post issue.

Each of these factors is combined to place you into a category. The categories are the implicit hierarchy of Elder, Midbie, and Newbie. This classification is much more fluid than one might think. It depends on the person doing the ranking. Those who have been here since the wheel first turned, consider only a few elders and all others are noobs. It's really what you can make other people think you are.

To a minor extent perhaps. More specifically, which admins?

Yes

I don't know. I don't go there often enough to give a proper evaluation.
