You have no idea how much of a blessing it is to have someone educated come in who you can actually discuss their illness and treatment with rather than the continual stream of runny noses and "No he doesn't need antibiotics for that". I empathise with your doc
The doc started it! She said that if I wanted to know what a calcium channel blocker was, I should look it up. So I did.
Now she says that I should have a look at decide whether I want to stick with one variety of Angiotensin-II blocker or think about another version, after studying the research to date on their relative "remedial" effects on left ventricular hypertrophy.
Best thing? Patient empowerment.
