Woo hoo! Way to go! And so on.
Good to see you around these parts. Every once and awhile when I'm here, I get reminded of how much time has passed since my heyday here. You know? It used to be, like, you knew what was going on in your friends' lives here every day, and everything was much more condensed. Now we have this wider lens, where we only interact with each other every so often, and find out what has been done in the time since we last talked. And those are more "life goal" sort of things than every day things. It used to be like, "hey, this is an interesting thing that happened to me the other day at work", whereas now it's like "hey, I bought a house a few months ago". It's weird, because I remember you making the choice to do your masters. I remember you talking about it over several days, on the pros and the cons... and now, bang, you have it.
Anyway, congrats, I'm just musing on the different relationships that we have with the people around us, and how they change over time. I think this might be because I have a friend who I'm seeing today for the first time in a year and a half... she's been overseas for about two years, and I'm one of the only people she was friends with that kept in contact with her the whole time. It must be weird for her to come back and try to see what has changed with the people she used to surround herself with.
Wow, I certainly know how to get off topic.
What I meant to say was - way to go, smartie. You earned it (well, as far as I know).
