In terms of what you might want to talk about, here's an OF post that deals with Gilgamesh. I suspect you can answer some of the questions about Summerian beliefs a bit more than I could

I studied Sumerian. It's probably the most "dead" language on the face of the earth, considering that it died out as a living language in remote antiquity but was studied as a "classical" language later on. There are a LOT of different versions of the Gilgamesh story out there...I don't even know where to begin.
