Yes, shows like Pokemon and crappy Saturday Morning Cartoons in the anime style have really annoyed me all along. If this is not all there is to Anime, then fair enough, I shall rescind my statement and merely state I have not had broad enough experience with the art to give an opinion. Else wise.....it sucks.

If it's the influence of Japanese culture in it...okay.

I don't think it is this one. Japanese culture for the most part is superior, and I like.

If it's the story or drawing...well then, that varies dramatically across "anime." Some people see something like Pokemon and decide they hate anime.

Others see the 13th episode of some series and it makes no sense and they decide they hate anime.

This would be me also, if I ever caught the 13th episode. I do not beleive I have ever watched ANY of a series. Not a one.
