1. Have you ever been on an airplane?
Yep.
2. Where did you go? Or if you fly too much to say all, where do you go most of the time?
Flown to California and to Halifax, NS.
3. Do you like flying? Why (not)?
Yes and No. No probs with flying, it's kind of fun... but..
Airline seats are not for large men, and airport security is an intrusive farce that annoyeth me.
4. Don't you just love sitting at an airport waiting for your flight? I know I do. So many people to watch, so many things to see....
Nah. Usually some screaming brat hanging around mucking it up, plus most airports are non-smoking.
5. Any funny plane/airport related stories?
Yes.. on the flight to Halifax, I scared the crap out of half a dozen passengers sitting near me.. I was reading "Hannibal". And laughing my ass off. I got a LOT of very unnerved looks from them. Which was almost funnier than Dr. Lechter.
6. What do you usually do during your flight? Just sit and wait? Read? Sleep?
Read usually.
7. Window or aisle seat?
Window. It's cramped, due to the curve of the plane wall, but I don't hang out into the aisle.
8. Have you ever missed a flight? If so, what did you do?
Nope.
9. What's your favourite airport? Why?
Toronto. Gorgeous place. Good Food. Not to annoying security.
10. If money wasn't an issue, would you travel by plane more often?
Yes. Private Lear jet.
11. If you could take a flight to anywhere you want, but you'd have to leave right now, with just enough time to pack a suitcase, where would you go?
Ireland.
12. Has the airline ever lost your suitcase? Which airline was it?
Nope.
13. It looks like I'll be flying a lot in the years to come. What airlines should I avoid?
Air Yak, anything heading to the Middle East, most budget carriers.. SouthWest has the best rep of most US carriers, and Quantas is pretty good to Aussieland... If you hafta do middle east, go El Al. The security there is solid. Air Canada was good for my trip to Canuckia.
