Dont use the word Otaku. The term was invented for Japanese youths who forsake everyday society and retreat into a world consisting of Anime (the likes of which most American fans will never even come close to seeing) in an almost cultish manner. Having the Cowboy Bebop collection and matching sheets does not qualify a person.
