If you do, there's plenty of good unliscenced stuff (all subbed, though), or there's always the horrible file-pirating.

I don't feel bad about my pirating, in thagt it has led me to spend much more money on anime, and downloading something has never been a reason for me not to buy it, unless I find out it sucks, in which case I don't think I should have to buy it to find out.

If you don't have a good internet connection and you have no tv, your only hope is to find someone who is into anime. In other words, go lurk some hobby/gaming/comic stores.
