1. Have you ever been on an airplane?

Certainly. Military, civilian and vintage.

2. Where did you go? Or if you fly too much to say all, where do you go most of the time?

Various places. Texas a couple of times, Colorado, New York City, Toronto, Florida, probably a few others. And those are only counting the commercial flights. Quite a few more if you add in the ones where I flew the plane.

3. Do you like flying? Why (not)?

I used to really love it but I've discovered a bit of a tendency to get motion sickness of late. It bothers me much less when I'm behind the controls than sitting squeezed into a little seat in a cabin.

4. Don't you just love sitting at an airport waiting for your flight? I know I do. So many people to watch, so many things to see....

Actually I really hate it. It's almost as boring as sitting on the plane while it flies from place to place.

5. Any funny plane/airport related stories?

I got "shot down" once when flying a Spad VIII in an airshow. Does that count?

6. What do you usually do during your flight? Just sit and wait? Read? Sleep?

All of the above, but not at the same time!

7. Window or aisle seat?

Don't care. Seem to wind up with window seats mostly, though.

8. Have you ever missed a flight? If so, what did you do?

Nope. Had a flight late that caused me to miss my ground transport, though. In NYC. Went to a hotel for the night and took the train the next morning.

9. What's your favourite airport? Why?

Don't really have one.

10. If money wasn't an issue, would you travel by plane more often?

Most certainly! It's much faster than anything else.

11. If you could take a flight to anywhere you want, but you'd have to leave right now, with just enough time to pack a suitcase, where would you go?

Florida. (But I don't have the available Holiday time for work, really).

12. Has the airline ever lost your suitcase? Which airline was it?

Nope. Never had an airline lose any of my luggage, and some of it's been pretty strange luggage.

13. It looks like I'll be flying a lot in the years to come. What airlines should I avoid?

I've never found there to be a great deal of difference.
